Abigale Lee Miller bio
Abigale Lee Mills (born on the 21st of September, 1965) was a American dance instructor, choreographer, and reality TV host. Abby Lee Dance Company was founded by her. It was a part of eight seasons of Dance Moms. Miller pleaded guilty in June 2016 to fraudulent bankruptcy in the felony category. Miller was sentenced to a year and a day in federal prison and was released on the 27th of March in 2018. In April of 2018 she was diagnosed with lymphoma, a form of cancer that left her unable to walk. The wheelchair she uses now is used to get around. Miller grew up in Penn Hills, Pennsylvania. Her mom taught her dance at Maryen Lorrain Dance Studio. Miller was 14 years old when she was given choreography and the role of coach on one of her mother's competition dance teams. Miller eventually took over the studioand changed its name to Reign Dance Productions. Miller became certified by Dance Masters of America and was a member of Dance Masters of Pennsylvania Chapter #10 in 1986 however, her membership was ended in February 2012 in the wake of DMA saying that Miller's show on reality TV Dance Moms was "a total mistake in the representation of our dance educators and their students and is damaging to the dance industry."
